Concurso De Elegancia Costa del Sol celebrates automotive passion and crowns the Bugatti Profilée “Best of Show”

Marbella, 8 October 2025. The 2025 edition of the Concurso De Elegancia Costa del Sol has successfully launched the new era led by CAVËN under the direction of Bastian Metzger, consolidating itself as a benchmark event for lovers of automobiles and luxury. The concours celebrated the elegance, innovation and emotion inspired by the great icons of motoring, while allowing a select international audience to discover some of the most emblematic spots of the Costa del Sol—reaffirming its position as a privileged destination for style and excellence.

The organization of the Concurso De Elegancia Costa del Sol designed a bespoke program, the result of close collaboration with a select group of collectors and enthusiasts who arrived from around the world with their most prized jewels. In total, more than 170 vehicles—ranging from classics to supercars and hypercars—filled the region throughout the weekend.

The automobiles visited carefully chosen locations in Marbella, Mijas and the provincial capital, Málaga, discovering the most authentic essence of the Costa del Sol. The program also included a route to Ronda, where a private track day was held at the Ascari Circuit, featuring some of the most beautiful and powerful hypercars in the world. The experience combined first-rate scenic roads—with sea and mountain views—and exceptional gastronomy in Marbella, the jewel of the Costa del Sol, complemented by the region’s mild, luminous climate, even at this time of year.

Beyond the cars, the organization looked after every detail to offer participants a level of hospitality and comfort worthy of the event. Gastronomic and social experiences were hosted in exclusive venues in Marbella such as Marbella Club and Hotel Puente Romano, as well as at La Zambra (Mijas) and La Zagaleta—considered one of the most exclusive residential estates in Europe—rounding out a proposition that combined elegance, discretion and the finest Mediterranean lifestyle.

The jury—comprising world-renowned designers, restorers and collectors, regulars at events such as Pebble Beach, Villa d’Este and Salon Privé—was tasked with evaluating one of the most dazzling selections ever assembled in Spain, ensuring a rigorous and deeply considered assessment of every vehicle presented.

Among the cars on display were unique pieces such as the Bugatti Divo, Bugatti Chiron, Pagani Utopia, Koenigsegg Jesko, Aston Martin Valhalla, Mercedes-AMG One, Ferrari SP3 and SP2, Lamborghini Sián Roadster, Porsche Carrera GT Gemballa, Ferrari Enzo, Mercedes 300 SL, Lamborghini Revuelto and Bentley Continental Zagato. Each model was examined with meticulous attention to detail, highlighting its history, design and technical singularity.

Standing out with special prominence was the Bugatti Profilée, a unique creation conceived as the final evolution of the Chiron, recognized with the “Best of Show” award. Its balance of art, precision and engineering—together with its timeless silhouette and refined mechanics—made it a true contemporary masterpiece.

The Bentley EXP Speed 8 LMP1, winner and protagonist of a historic one-two at the 2003 24 Hours of Le Mans, was honored in the Race Cars category. The Bentley Continental GT Flying Star (Touring Superleggera) also drew attention, winning the Bespoke category for its exclusivity and artisanal execution. The jury rounded out its recognition of different eras of the automobile with the BMW 507 in Classic Cars, the Audi Quattro in Youngtimer 1980–2005, and the McLaren 750S Spider MSO in Supercars 2000–2025.
